In Verses at Work, rapper Malik Work tells his story of passion and struggle as he fights to become an artist in the Big Apple. When Malik tapped Manhattan Composers Collective to help him tell his story in the form of a feature-length film, we jumped at the chance. In addition to composing and recording dramatic underscore, we crafted fresh productions of some of Malik Work's classic tracks, with thundering beats, funky leads and in-your-face vocal production. At its premiere at the 2016 LA Brazilian Film Festival, Verses at Work was honored with the International Spotlight Award.
